DAY 1: AIRPORT - N'ELIYA - HAKGALA - N'ELIYA

The representative of Leoland Travels will meet arrival at Bandaranayaka International airport, on arrival clients. Thereafter they will be introduced to the local tour guide/ Chauffeur who will be accompanied them around the Island.

Begin your journey to uncover the wonders of this island.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya and en route visit a tea factory to get an idea of how Ceylon tea is made and experience tea tasting.

Take a tour around the city this afternoon to wander the streets of Nuwara Eliya. Here, the temperature is similar to a beautiful English summer's day where the climate is cool during the day and at night it is compared with the European winter temperature.

Visit the Hakgala Gardens, where the cool climate in the area has provided perfect settings for foreign botanical species to thrive, unlike in other parts of the country.

You also have the option of taking a boat ride at the Gregory Lake (Payable Directly).

DAY 2: NUWARA ELIYA - HORTON PLAINS - N'ELIYA

After breakfast, proceed to Horton Plains.

Horton Plains, covered by grasslands, coverings of thick forests, filigree waterfalls and rocky boulders and hazy lakes. The visitors can hike on their own on excellent trails for hikes amongst the shadows of its dewy foliage and misty landscapes.

Return to Nuwara Eliya for another overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: NUWARA ELIYA - UDAWALAWE

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Udawalawe.

In the afternoon, do a jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park. This park is home to scenic landscapes and rare wildlife that rival the savannah reserves of Africa.The park is a treasure of this emerald isle. It is most popular for elephant sightings as the verdure shelters close to 500 jumbos

DAY 4: UDAWALAWE - YALA

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at hotel and head to Yala National Park.

Set out on another jeep safari at Yala National Park, its magnificent sights of majestic elephants, fine-feathered peacocks, great black bears and agile leopards that steal away into the shadows of the thick foliage which are unparalleled to any of the national parks in the country.

DAY 5: YALA - SINHARAJA (DENIYAYA)

Early morning breakfast will be served at the hotel and proceed to Sinharaja.

Sinharaja Rain Forest Reserve, dense, dark and mysterious, is a picturesque rainforest ideal for meditation, relaxation and scientific exploration. Located at the heart of the island's wet-zone, is the last standing rainforest on the isle. It has also been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Go on a trek into the rainforest accompanied by a naturalist guide.

Overnight stay at an eco-lodge in close proximity to the borders of the rainforest.

DAY 6: SINHARAJA - KOSGODA - AIRPORT

After breakfast leave to Colombo with an en-route stop at the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.

Established in 1981, it is one of the earliest attempts to safeguard local turtles from extinction. The hatchery offers a wildlife experience of a different kind.

Its visitors are offered the opportunity to watch new-born turtles as well as some rare species of adult turtles including Olive Ridley, the Hawksbill, the Green Turtle, the Loggerhead and the Leatherback, swimming about the massive tanks as they beat their flippers against the water.

Once you arrive in Colombo you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
